Quit For Life Tobacco Cessation Program

The Quit For Life program is offered in collaboration with the American Cancer Society and the Alabama Department of Public Health.

Employees who are enrolled in the UA medical plan are eligible for the following:

1. Tobacco cessation drugs when prescribed by a physician at no co-pay or deductible when dispensed at a participating retail pharmacy.

2. Nicotine replacement therapy (ex. gum, patches, inhalers, lozenges, etc.) mailed to you during counseling as prescribed by a physician.

3. Eight tobacco cessation telephone counseling sessions per year when delivered by a health care provider.
