The University is required by law to provide important notices each year to inform employees of their rights and responsibilities with respect to the University’s group health plans. Each October, all benefit-eligible employees receive a copy of the following Annual Notices flyer sent to their local mailing address on file with Human Resources. Please carefully review all information contained in each disclosure notice and share it with any eligible, covered dependents.

The University sends required annual disclosure notices to the local mailing address on file for all benefits-eligible employees each October. Employees may review an electronic copy below and also have the right to request and receive (free of charge) paper copies of any documents received electronically by contacting the Benefits Office at (205) 348-7732 or email hr@ua.edu.
