Benefitfocus is the University’s benefit enrollment management platform. Employees may enroll or make changes to core healthcare, life and disability benefits online in the dashboard accessed via single sign-on in MyBama, or through the Benefitplace mobile app with Company ID: UA-Benefitfocus.

Open enrollment is your once-a-year opportunity to make certain benefits changes, including enrolling in a flexible spending account for the upcoming tax year. Employees have from Oct. 15 – 31, 2024 to make decisions, and changes will take effect Jan. 1, 2025.
