Bama Perks 

Bama Perks is your UA discount program designed to inform the UA community about local businesses offering discounts to employees.

Compliance Training

In order to meet state and federal requirements as well as University policy,  faculty, staff and student employees of the University may be required to take mandatory training on specific topics.  Many of the mandatory compliance training topics must have the course or a refresher course completed on an annual basis.

Emergency Alerts

One of the methods The University of Alabama uses for emergency notification is UA Alerts.  In an emergency, University Relations will activate the system, sending telephone calls (work, cell, and/or home), e-mail, and text (SMS) messages simultaneously to the campus community.

Employee Assistance Program

The University’s EAP Program provides employees and their family members with resources for resolving work related and personal problems including: marital, parent-child, substance abuse, stress, and personal budgeting. The program provides free assessment, short-term counseling, and referral services.

The University of Alabama’s Flexible Spending Account program for dependent care provides University employees the opportunity to create a pre-tax account to help pay for dependent care expenses.  The program is administered through FlexCorp.
