Frequently Asked Questions

 

Welcome to the Learning and Development Online Registration site. Here you can register for any of the orientations and training courses offered by Learning and Development. It may also be used in the future to register for events such as the Service Anniversary receptions.

IMPORTANT NOTE: All UA faculty and staff are preloaded into the system.

Red ArrowThe first time you log into the online registration system you will use the following information:

  • Your myBama email address*

  • Your CWID for your password

*All employees are issued a myBama email address. If you do not recall yours, it can easily be remembered using the following tip -- take your myBama log in user name and add “@bama.ua.edu”. For example, if your myBama user name is “xsmith” then your myBama email address is xsmith@bama.ua.edu.

New Employee Orientation: New staff employees must have a myBama email account and CWID issued in order to be registered for orientation in the online registration system. It is vital that a new employee’s Personnel Action form be submitted to Payroll at least one week prior to the hire date to ensure that HR Learning and Development can get the necessary data from Banner in time for orientation enrollment.
