Current Training
HR Development has realigned professional development course offerings for 2009 to respond to specific needs managers and supervisors indicated as necessary to support the mission of recruiting and retaining the best and brightest workforce.
The basis for this new curriculum is that through heightened self-awareness, improved application of skills, and efficient understanding and utilization of UA systems and resources, employees at The University of Alabama can be successful contributors to their work units, as well as, lead their teams toward success.

New Employee Orientation
New employees must attend an orientation session as soon as possible after beginning employment. Employees with a change in status must attend orientation immediately following the date their job status changes. Orientation information and schedules can be found here.
