Are you interested in a job, but unable to commit to a regular work schedule? Short-term employment opportunities available through the UA student job networks might be what you are looking for. These are temporary jobs from UA faculty, staff and student parents seeking short-term help, in areas like babysitting and tutoring. Once you submit your application, potential employers will review your information and contact you directly to discuss job details and terms of employment. |

UA Babysitter Network
Connects applicants with UA faculty, staff, & student parents seeking qualified babysitters. Basic job duties include monitoring and supervising children’s basic care, including dressing, toileting, bathing and feeding, regulating rest periods, and/or other needs as per parent’s instructions. Connects applicants with UA faculty, staff, & students seeking qualified tutors. Basic qualifications include strong knowledge of subject area tutored, and must be able to explain fundamental concepts of relevant subject area(s) to students. Click the link above for additional information. |

| Get your Documents Ready: |

- Resume - PDF or Word document (REQUIRED)

- Cover letter, schedule, reference letters, etc. - PDF or Word document (OPTIONAL)

Log onto the UA Student Employment Jobsite: |
|
- Click ‘Login’ from menu on the left. If you already have a user account for the UA Student Employment Jobsite, log in. Otherwise, create a new account.
|

NOTE: If your user account was created BEFORE October 1, 2012, you will need to create a new user account due to a systems upgrade. |
- Click ‘Search Jobs’ from menu on the left, then find ‘UA Babysitter Network’ or UA Tutor Network’ in the list of available jobs and click on the one you are interested in.

Complete your Application: |
- Click the ‘Apply to this Job’ button at top right.
|
- Upload your REQUIRED documents - Resume, Program Participation Agreement and Disclaimer (under ‘Other Document 1’); then upload any optional documents of your choosing.

- Complete all other sections of the application:

Selecting ‘No’ will automatically disqualify your application. If you do not have a signed copy of the Program Participation Agreement and Disclaimer available to attach to your application, it is recommended that you stop applying and SAVE YOUR APPLICATION, then return to complete once you have uploaded the required documents. |

Check for Errors & Submit your Application: |
- From the drop menu on the top right, select ‘Check for Errors and Submit’
|
- Once you have completed all the required sections, the system will check your application - Invalid or incomplete responses will be marked with a red ‘X’. You will need to revisit these sections and add or update the required information/documents.
|
- Once you have successfully completed all sections of the application, you must certify and submit your application: read the certification statement, mark the check box if you agree with these statements, enter your initials to verify, and click submit.
|
- Once submitted, you will receive a confirmation number, and a message indicating if you meet the minimum requirements for the position. Approved applications will be forwarded to the pool for review by potential employers. You will be contacted directly if selected for an interview.
